This recognition marks a significant milestone in the celebrity chef’s illustrious career, which spans over four decades.


Chef Orlando has cemented a distinct imprint in the culinary world by sharing his exquisite Caribbean cuisine creations with patrons from around the globe, including numerous celebrities. His commitment to the art form, supported by his unique culinary vision has earned him numerous accolades and awards, establishing him as a leading figure in the world of Caribbean cuisine.



Chef Orlando Satchell brings "Ingredients without a Passport" through Caribbean Cuisine to the World


Orlando's Restaurant & Bar is celebrated not only for its appetising dishes but also for its role in promoting Caribbean cuisine on the global stage. The owner and chef’s mission, which he describes as introducing "ingredients without a passport," aims to familiarise the world with the rich and diverse flavours of Caribbean cuisine. 


His forte is utilising raw food indigenous to the tropical region to produce Caribbean cuisine. These include fresh fruit, vegetables and ground provisions, meticulously prepared, enhanced with herbs, seasonings and spices. This nomination for the World Culinary Awards is reflective of his consistent efforts and deep passion for his culinary heritage.
